partner a project

By supporting a particular project, your congregation can make more small miracles possible with MRDF.

Partner a Project is a new scheme where your Church can support a particular MRDF project in Mali or Cameroon.

 

Mali

With only 1,000 doctors and 600 midwives in a country of over 13 million people, 2 in every 10 children dies before their 5th birthday.

Working with a local partner, MRDF trains local people in healthcare and midwifery skills and promotes health education.

 

Cameroon

17% of people in Cameroon live on less that $1 a day, and 25% of the population is undernourished.

Through its local partner, MRDF provides training and advice on sustainable agriculture and offers micro-credit, enabling people to start small businesses.

 

You will receive:

  • Photos and information about the project and regular updates on its work
  • The opportunity of a speaker to talk about MRDF and the project that you are supporting
  • Fundraising and campaigning ideas.

 

What to do now:

  • Choose which project from the ones above your Church would like to support
  • Apply here   ( N.B. In the Your Enquiry section, please indicate which country you are interested in - Cameroon or Mali - and how long you anticipate supporting the project for)
  • Display the materials you will recieve from MRDF prominently in your Church and share news of the project with your congregation.

 

Please note that currently Mali and Cameroon are the only countries currently involved in the Partner a Project scheme.
