At MRDF, we know that most of our support comes from Churches and Circuits - through Harvest collections, fundraising events or a focus on a specific project. A church donation form is available to download and print here.
Donation cheques should be made payable to 'Methodist Relief and Development Fund' or 'MRDF' and sent to:
MRDF, 25 Marylebone Road, London, NW1 5JR.
If your church is giving to a specific country, partner or appeal, please mark this on a covering note, not on the cheque itself. We can only channel money to current partners and appeals, if you are unsure whether MRDF can accept a particular designated donation, please contact us to check. MRDF is currently accepting donations for emergency relief in Zimbabwe, Darfur and in response to recent floods in Mexico.
We also rely on Churches to spread the word about MRDF's work and to give more people the opportunity to get involved in tackling poverty. Could your Church or Circuit appoint an MRDF Co-ordinator to link your congregation to the MRDF office?
Thanks to your help, MRDF, through its network of local partner organisations, can open up new possibilities to communities living in poverty. We currently work with 43 partner organisations in more than 20 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America, making a difference to thousands of lives each year. Why give to MRDF?
To take on new projects, and to sustain existing work, we need your continued support.
We provide distinctive resources and a speaker scheme to help Churches, and groups within them, to engage with development issues through worship, giving and action. These materials are available all year round, with a particular focus on Harvest and Lent. We hope that they will help you to join us in making more small miracles possible.
