co-ordinators

Our Co-ordinators make more miracles possible by mobilising their local churches to fundraise and act.

Making more miracles possible

MRDF's Co-ordinators are among our most valuable resources.
They volunteer at a local level, promoting MRDF's work in their churches and circuits. Co-ordinators are particularly effective because they know their own area and church better than we ever could.

With their help, we can tell more people about the needs our overseas projects are meeting, without diverting resources away from our relief and development work.

Local Co-ordinators help us by doing any, or all, of these important jobs:

  • sharing MRDF's news with office-holders in their church or circuit
  • passing on worship and study materials, like our Harvest pack
  • giving talks in their local area about MRDF's work
  • organising fundraising events
  • encouraging people to campaign on important development issues, like trade justice
  • making sure our partners are remembered in prayer.

We provide Co-ordinators with all the resources they need to do
this, including:

  • our quarterly newsletter and monthly e-mail updates
  • advance copies of our latest resources
  • posters, presentation and publicity material
  • help to network with other Co-ordinators in their region
  • training workshops on MRDF's work and skills for promoting it.

If you would like to become an MRDF Co-ordinator, you can download the registration form or call 020 7467 5132.
