Dudley's south west walk

Dudley Coates, the outgoing Vice President of Methodist Conference, finished his term of office in style by walking over 100 miles in aid of MRDF. In the week leading up to Methodist Conference, Dudley tackled the Poole Harbour to Exmouth stretch of the South West Coast Path.

The inspiration for the walk came after visiting the Presbyterian Rural Training College, an MRDF partner in Cameroon, after which Dudley returned “ even more convinced that money given to MRDF is well spent.” An extra motivation, he added, was to get fit again after a year travelling the country as Vice President and being well fed wherever he visited.

Dudley has raised over £700 in sponsorship so far and you can still pledge money via his Justgiving page.
