In the last five years individuals, churches and schools across the country have raised over £80,000 for MRDF by taking part in fundraising and sponsored events.
That's the equivalent of funding an adult education programme in Tanzania for four years, allowing hundreds of people to access the literacy and numeracy training that they need to start working for themselves.
From carrying a bucket of water to synod, to holding a Biblical bring and buy, MRDF supporters have come up with hundreds of ingenious ways to make a life-changing difference to people living in some of the world's poorest communities.
