MRDF works in conjunction with organisations like Stop Climate Chaos and the Fairtrade Foundation in order to tackle to causes of poverty.
We believe it is vital to tackle the causes as well as the effects of poverty. In the UK, we aim to empower people to challenge unjust international structures and help create an environment that enables poor countries and marginalised people access to greater opportunities.
As a small agency, we work in partnership with other UK-based organisations to increase our impact. Through these Campaign Partnerships and our own activities, we promote understanding about international development issues and encourage action to tackle the causes of poverty.
Our campaigning priorities are informed by the concerns of our overseas partners. Our current focus is on the areas of trade, debt and climate change.
We take a proactive approach to the development of new Campaign Partnerships, and no longer accept unsolicited applications for funding from UK organisations.
